Welcome to the PynchonWiki
This is the newly created Wiki for -- inaugurally -- Thomas Pynchon's Against the Day (pub date: 11/21/06), and eventually for the guides to Pynchon's other "big" novels, V., Gravity's Rainbow and Mason & Dixon, which are currently available at ThomasPynchon.com. These three will eventually be migrated here so that registered users of this wiki can create pages and make changes for those novels' guides.
We'd like to thank Mr David Kipen for being the first contributor to this eventually historical website. You can read the beginnings of his annotation of the Against the Day blurb, written by Thomas Pynchon, which appeared, disappeared and reappeared at Amazon.com.

We have a few conventions we ask that you follow:
When creating a new page, if its information pertains to one (and only one) specific Pynchon novel (currently just Against the Day, please preface it with the identifier "ATD".
For example, Against the Day is divided into five sections, and we're starting a section-by-section annotation, so the first section is ATD The Light Over the Ranges.
If you'd like to start an alphabetical page for Against the Day, you'd use ATD - A.
